Hi Antonio,
The suspended substrate is a kind of structure
of sandwich. It looks like a microstrip suspended between two metal
conductor planes. The distance from suspended substrate to each conductor
plane may be identical or not.
You may try to find a microwave
book published ten years ago or earlier. It is seldom discussed in a
modern RF book.
I hope it is helpful.

Location: Burnaby By the way, I find a picture of the suspended
substrate in ADS and upload to my website. The picture link is shown
as following. You may think about to simulate your design in ADS if
it meets your requirement.
Good luck.
