Comm egr jobs with UAV's - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) communications systems (both the airborne & ground-based components) appears to be a growth industry with opportunities for engineers. With the military, Homeland Security, and others purchasing & using them for border security, the war, and commercial applications.

Does anyone know small companies in this field or links to websites where the career opportunities are plentiful? I'm an MSEE with a security clearance. I'd like to find a small company that I can grow with, rather than going to one of the big boys like General Atomics, Northrop Grumman, etc.
