Senior RF Technician
Job DescriptionPerforms complex
laboratory tasks including construction and testing
of breadboard and experimental (prototype) electronic
subassemblies and devices from schematic of a difficult
and responsible nature in connection with one or
more phases of a project. Works under minimum supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. * Construct complete breadboard and experimental
(prototype) electronic devices from schematics,
sketches or verbal orders.
2. * Perform complex
tests using various test equipment.
3. *
Construct own test fixtures and apparatus as requested.
4. * Completely troubleshoot an electronic system
to determine cause and remedy for malfunctioning.
5. May participate in field assignments
as required.
6. * Prepare test documentation
and reporting.
7. * Make suggestions on engineering
changes.
8. * Perform complex alignments.
9. * Construct data files for production units.
10. Perform other duties as necessary and as
assigned.
11. Must be able to work overtime
as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree in electronics and/or
equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years
related experience.

Intermediate RF
Technician Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, performs semi-complex
laboratory tasks that include construction and testing
of breadboard and experimental electronic sub-assemblies
and devices from schematics of a semi-difficult
and responsible nature in connection with one or
more phases of a project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. * Construct components and sub-assemblies
of experimental electronic devices from schematics,
sketches or verbal instructions.
2. * Performs
routine experimental and test procedures of moderate
complexity, using standard electrical and electronic
test equipment. Record all observed results.
3. * Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment,
making simple repairs as required.
4. *
Perform routine analysis to check accuracy, applicability
and reasonableness of data.
5. May participate
in field assignments assisting higher level technicians
or engineers.
6. Perform other duties as
necessary and as assigned.
7. Must be able
to work overtime as needed.
