Quality Assurance
Engineer: Assures that quality control
standards are achieved by coordinating Quality Assurance
functions at a project level, as well as on an overall
Quality System level in support of all customer
orders and product development projects. Some responsibilities
include defining and establishing inspection criteria,
workmanship standards and procedures; ensuring equipment
meets quality control standards by maintaining and
updating calibration program for all inspection,
test, and measurement equipment; resolving quality
issues by interfacing with suppliers, customers
and internal organizations and through the use of
Corrective Action, Deviation Requests, Material
Review Board (MRB), and Return Material Authorization
(RMA) processes; and supporting continuous improvement
by coordinating the implementation and maintenance
of continuous improvement programs such as SPC and
Supply Chain Management . Bachelors degree in Engineering,
plus 2 years of directly related quality assurance
experience OR at least 6 years of directly related
quality assurance experience, working knowledge
and experience in RF Coaxial Interconnect design
and manufacturing industry preferred. Working knowledge
of Six Sigma tools such as DFMA and FMEA, highly
desired.
Applications Engineer:
This role is the primary technical interface between
sales, marketing and internal engineering functions
to support technical customer inquiries and requests.
Provides follow-up support in disseminating technical
information on specific applications including presentations
and training on all aspects of products. Assists
sales staff in assessing potential application of
company products to meet customer needs and preparing
detailed product specifications. Prepares and/or
assists engineering in the preparation of Technical
Bid/Proposal Requests including providing follow
up support to Field Sales Engineering functions.
Reviews, filters, and directs, RFQ’s for new design/services
to ensure timely and accurate response. Product
application knowledge of RF Interconnects and coaxial
cable within RF Microwave industries such as Military,
Industrial, Test & Instrument, Telecom, and
Medical required Ability to act as liaison with
Field Sales functions and all internal functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or 2-4 years
equivalent direct industry experience.
Engineering Assistant:
Under the guidance and direction of engineering
and engineering management, this position will provide
direct hands on support to product design &
documentation and engineering test, evaluation and
research activities for customer funded programs
and new product research and development. Excellent
communication and presentation skills to act as
a direct technical liaison with all internal and
external functions, Proficiency with SolidWorks
CAD platform and working knowledge of product data
management and ERP systems. Ability to set up, operate,
and demonstrate test equipment to perform VSWR,
insertion loss, phase match testing and related
tests and inspections. Intimate working knowledge
of RF Microwave industry coaxial cable and connector
specifications, regulations, and compliance requirements
specifically military specifications. Associates
(Electrical Engineering Technology preferred) degree
preferred.
