The best days to post job openings on the Internet - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews
-- Miscellany
-- Swap Shop

Greetings:

"Tech Company Announces Best Day To Post Jobs On The Internet"
http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7002955274

It turns out to be Monday through Thursday, with about 17-18% of total job searching activity occurring on each day. Wednesday is overall the best day with about half a percentage point above the rest. Who among us did not already know that activity for Friday and the weekend would be much lower than the first part of the work week?

I see this news as being about as groundbreaking as the recent announcement that extensive studies have determined men and women are, in fact, different.

.
