Bluetooth in the Comics - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Greetings:

Well, I saw what is for me the first instance of Bluetooth mentioned in the daily comic strips (other than Dilbert). The June 1, 2005, edition of Zits has the main character, a teenager named Jerome, trying to convince his father to but a phone that is Bluetooth enabled. His un-tech-savvy father (a dentist) lifts open the flip-phone cover and peeks inside trying to find the blue tooth that Jeorme is talking about.

Has anyone else seen Bluetooth mentioned, other than in Dilbert?

Zits is a King Features syndication
