Greetings: I was reading a review on the
NEC e616 phone this morning on a supposedly reputable
website. Here is an excerpt from one of their columnists:
"It is also compatible with any UMTS system
on those frequencies -
UMTS is the direct connection
of a mobile handset to a satellite,
one of the bases of 3G mobile technology."
