Déjà vu all over again? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Has anyone else noticed that the September 2003 editions of “RF Design” and “Microwave Journal” present nearly identical articles by Hernandez, Berenguer, Melendez, Rodriguez and Aguilera?

Both the “RF Design” version (page 56) and the “Microwave Journal” version (page 182) addresses a DCS-1800 downconverter, and contain many of the exact same graphics. The article wording varies enough to qualify as unique content, but I have never before seen this happen. It’s a great deal for the authors, but the magazines are probably pretty upset for not having gotten exclusive rights to the article.
