requirements involved with product certification
from these agencies/labs?

Greetings lasteem1: You might try my good
friend Dave Guzman, who runs a consulting business
called RfTek ( http://rftek.net).
He has been dealing with those labs for a long time,
and might have some good pointers. He can definitely
help you get started.
