RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...

Hmmmm........ I saw RF Cafe mentioned on
the RF Globalnet forums. Never heard of this site
prior to that, but I do recognize Kirt's name from
the RFG forums. The site claims to have been around
since 1996, but this is the first I've ever heard
of it. This looks like a pretty good collection
of a variety of goods. The humor pages are - humorous

I'm a crossword puzzle junkie (good exercise for
the mind, according to research!), so the engineering
puzzles are nice. It's good to see a commercial
website not afraid to exhibit a degree of Amercian
patriotism
Keep up the good work. Now that I know about
RF Cafe, I'll be back. - U.S.
