I have a serious question for Americans: - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews
-- Miscellany
-- Swap Shop
-- Systems
-- Test & Measurement
-- Webmaster

First let me state that I have no animus against my friends in America. But I must share with you this tidbit from Fox News that does raise an interesting question about the tendency of your politicians (our too, to be sure) to run off at the mouth in a manner incalculably harmful to your country. I speak of your former President Clinton's admission on national television that he personally ordered the assassination of a particular human being (and I use the term loosely in in regard to Bin Laden). As the story below points out, not only did former President Clinton illegally order an assassination, but he "outed" the CIA and other clandestine government entities for their missions to kill Bin Laden. Is this a wise foreign policy to so brazenly admit to in front of the entire world? I should think not, but I would like to know your opinion after reading the article. Curiously, I have not seen this information repeated elsewhere, including here in the U.K.

"Clinton's Braggadocio Will Haunt U.S. in War on Terror"

Please be intellectually honest in your response, regardless of whether or not you favor Fox News. Facts are facts, regardless of their origin.

Good day.

- Ralph

Good catch there Ralphie boy ;) I watched a clip on YouTube and my jaw dropped when I heard Bill admit what he had done. I'm tempted to think it was a carefully planned mock rage attack, but I think he just lost it. Him wagging that long finger at that Wallace dude had to remind everyone of him in the famous "I never had s*x with that woman, Monica Lewinski" film clip (also on YouTube). Love him or hate him, you have to be concerned about what he just did the other night.

Clinton never does anything political in public without having a plan. That reaction was probably rehearsed many times before the show.
