SOLD - Windows XP Professional for Sale - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Greetings:

I just bought a new computer (Dell XPS400) and no longer need the Windows XP Professional software I bought for my tired old Compaq. This is a retail version upgrade that only requires that a previous version of Windows already be installed (does NOT need to be a professional version). This has the original box and CD, it was purchased in a store and is NOT a version that shipped with a computer, so reselling is completely permissible. The old computer was restored to its original version of Windowx XP Home edition, so this copy is completely clean.

So...

I you are interested in buying Windows XP Professional for only $75, including shipping to the U.S. or Canada, please send me an e-mail (click on Contact Us at the top-right side of the RF Cafe homepage). I will give you a page where you can pay via PayPal. I will also give you an entry in the T-Shirt contest.

Thank you.

Greetings:

Well, it sold for a final price of $105, and the buyer paid shipping. Not a bad deal considering eBay only took $3.50 in fees!

If you haven't tried selling on eBay, I can recommend it based on this experience. I have also purchased 15-20 items in the last couple years and have had no problems.

In fact, recently I won an auction for a 2-channel Hitachi o-scope (35 MHz BW) for a mere $53 (+$20 shipping). The day before that I won the auction for an HP6234A dual output DC supply for $31.03 (also $20 shipping). Good deals on both.

Anyway, I figured someone out there might be interested.
