Measurement Instrument Comparission. - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Well my name is mayank and I am working as an RF Engineer for one of the biggest DTH service provider in India. Well I want a suggestion regarding signal generators and network analyzer of Anritsu, Agilent, Nolatak Comm. and Rohde and Schwarz. Which one is best in all respect. I mean cost wise, useage wise, performance, linearity, durablity waise etc......I am already using Agilent L-band and RF spectrum analyzer and also Anritsu power meter for measurements. I am looking for frequency range og 0.1 Hz to 20 GHz or above...Plz suggest me with your valuable views and comparission.....waiting for reply...
