Troubleshooting RF PC Boards - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews

I know there are a lot of books out there on troubleshooting RF boards, but I'm hoping some of you can recommend one or more books that you personally consider good. I'm working with some multilayer boards that have digital and RF/analog on the same board (up/down converters). Frequencies are in the DC-3 GHz range. All surface mount devices.

Kirt can you make a new page on your site for troubleshooting books based on responses I get (hopefully) here? I have to believe a lot of people would like to know where to get good troubleshooting books that are recommmended by the kinds of people that visit RF Cafe.

Thanks --- David
