concrete dielectric constant and loss - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Greetings chirag:

I did a seach on Yahoo for "dielectric constant concrete" and got this research paper from the University of Vermont (my alma matter, coincidently) in the #1 position. I did not do a lot of scanning through it, but it looks like a lot of useful info in there. You need to make sure steel reinforcement bar matrices are included in your attenuation calculation.
