Title: Radar Production Manager

Fort Collins, Colorado - June 24th, 2021 - Numerica is seeking a Radar Production Manager to plan, manage and execute the production of state-of-the art integrated RF systems to deliver powerful new sensing capabilities to our partners and Government Customers. Working in small innovative teams, our engineers build solutions that make a difference. Our research endeavors don’t end once we've written a journal or conference paper describing our technology; rather, our work is complete when our technology has been deployed in mission-critical systems and our customers within government and industry are successful.

  • Customer interface for Spyglass production program
  • Establishes and controls program cost, technical and schedule baseline
  • Interacts with engineering, manufacturing, and test disciplines as required
  • Ensures programs are completed on time and within budget, and are contractually compliant
  • Develops solutions to program problems and directs/supervises work of assigned technicians
  • Establishes and manages program risks and opportunities
  • Plans and organizes production schedules and oversees production process
  • Assesses project and resource requirements
  • Estimates, negotiates and maintains agreed budgets and timescales with managers
  • Documentation editing, service reports, review user manuals, inventory records, etc.
  • Manages compliance with quality program
  • Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Management or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Experience managing programs with radar and sensors domain content
  • 5-10 years of experience as a project lead, supervisor, manager, project manager
  • Strong understanding of program management processes and methodologies
  • Experience managing product development or production programs
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time, if needed
  • PMP Certification (or equivalent)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work with others in a mature and professional manner

Desired Experience

  • Experience with MRP systems
  • Experience with program or engineering project management
  • Experience with risk and opportunity management
  • Experience with DoD EVMS requirements
  • Experience with managing multiple suppliers
  • Experience with DoD change management requirements
  • Experience with DoD production programs
  • Strong communication and writing skills .

Expected Salary Range

Expected salary range: $110,100 (5 years relevant experience) to $134,200 (10 years relevant experience) plus monthly, quarterly and annual incentives. Due to the security requirements of this position, a candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully pass a criminal background check.
