We Are Not Alone

There is a region in the constellation Ursa Major that is so thick with galaxies that a viewing through an 8" telescope will reveal literally hundreds of specimens of barred spirals, ovals, spirals, and every other imaginable kind. No long time photograph exposures are needed for these beauties. If you have never seen them before, you will be absolutely amazed. On a moonless and clear night, find a friend with an 8" or larger telescope and steer to the region shown here. Awesome, yes?
