ARRL: Dust Particles Reflecting RF in the Atmosphere - RF CafeARRL contributing editor Stan Horzepa (WA1LOU) posted an interesting article on the radio propagation mode known as "dust scatter." He conducted an experiment to determine whether he could detect a “passive” meteor back-scatter from the recent (August 12) Perseid meteor shower.
