If it has been a while since you looked through my list of titles available as part of the monthly
Book Drawing
contest, now would be a good time since four new books were just added. Thanks to the generosity of publishers like
Artech House,
Cambridge University Press, and
McGraw Hill, I have been able to offer a book or two
every month to RF Cafe visitors who have entered via a simple process. To date, about 120 books have been given
away. Not only are the books made available for free, but I have personally paid for postage on all of them -
even the many shipped to overseas winners. These books typically carry a retail price of well over $100, and
they are of course of very recent publication since I receive them from the publishers to review often times
prior to when they are available publicly. When the subjects and content are conductive to it, I create
10-question quizzes based on
the material. A lot of people have missed out on a free book over the years due to not responding to my e-mails
notifying them of having won, so if you know you have qualified as a potential winner in the last month or two,
be sure to check your inbox or maybe even spam folder for an email from kirtrfc@aol.com.
