Z-Comm Introduces the V350ME24-LF Low Phase Noise UHF VCO

Diego, CA, October 26 2009 -- Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO
(Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model
V350ME24-LF in UHF-band. The
V350ME24-LF operates at 200-400 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-16 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase
noise of -95 dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 16 MHz/V.
The
V350ME24-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 10 Vdc supply while drawing 16 mA
(typical) over the temperature range of -20º to 55º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of
-20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s standard MINI-14S package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in
tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The
V350ME24-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
V350ME24-LF is well suited for mobile radio and test and measurement applications that require ultra low phase
