RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

Bliley Technologies Intros Ultra Low Phase Noise VCXO

OCXO, TCXO, VCXO and XO Crystal Oscillators by Bliley

Bliley Technologies Intros Ultra Low Phase Noise VCXO - RF CafeERIE, Pa. (April 5, 2013) – Ultra Low Phase Noise VCXO's are now available from Bliley Technologies. Bliley continues to strive for lower and lower noise performance products and the V1A is another step in this endeavor.

The V1A Ultra-Low Noise series is available at customer specified frequencies between 50 MHz and 125 MHz. In addition to typical phase noise performance at 100 MHz as listed below:

               Frequency Offset                      Phase Noise (dBc/Hz)
                         10 Hz                                        -86
                         100 Hz                                      -118
                         1 kHz                                        -143
                         10 kHz                                      -157
                         100 kHz                                    -164
                         1 MHz                                        -167

Customer can customize these parts for specific operating temperature and Frequency vs. Temperature stability.

The industry standard 9mm x 14mm (4) pad package provides a cost effective solution to high performance. Applications for this product series includes Ultra Low Noise Signal Sources, test and Measurement, Avionics, Microwave Backhaul and a host of other low phase noise applications.
