RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

MECA Electronics is pleased to announce its LOW PIM Loads / Terminations with industry leading -170 dBc (typical) Passive Intermodulation the  698 – 2700 MHz bandwidth.  Ideal for IDAS & ODAS and In-Building, base station applications.  Available in 20W, 50W, and 100W versions. All models feature 7/16 DIN male & female or Type N male & female connectors. VSWR 1.10:1 (typical).

Made in USA - 36 month warranty.  Additional Specs & Info: 


Unequal Power Splitters or Tappers, developed to unevenly split high power signals for In-Building Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Applications & Designs.  The line consists of six models offering a 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 10:1 signal-split ratio respectively, over 698-2700 MHz (Cellular, PCS, AWS, and BRS/EBS frequencies) and feature low Passive Intermodulation ratings of -155dBc typical, with ultra-low VSWR and minimal coupling variation over the entire frequency band. They easily handle high power levels of 300W (CW) and have an operational temperature range of -55°C to +85°C.  As with all MECA products, they are MADE IN USA and are offered with a standard 36-month warranty.
