RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

The European Microwave Week is the largest Event for the RF & Microwave Industry in Europe. This year it is being held in Nuremberg, Germany from the 6th to the 11th of October. The SPECTRAN HF-60100 V4 Analyzer is an extremely compact and high sensitivity handheld spectrum analyzer that operates up to 9.4 GHz. It can be used to detect sources of interference, find out more about their causes, determine the frequency and intensity of the signal sources, measure limits and boost the functionality by using our high-end PC software. The analyzer has a DANL of -155 dBm, Max power of 20 dBm and a resolution bandwidth from 200 Hz to 50 MHz.

It has a power gain of 21.4 dB and has a drain effeciency of 63%. The device has very low thermal resistance of 0.050C/W and best-in-class load mismatch tolerance of 5:1.
