Dr. Stephen Maas Receives 2014 Microwaves & RF Living Legend Award

What:
NI (formerly AWR Corporation) congratulates Dr. Stephen Maas,
who recently received the 2014 Microwaves & RF Living Legend Award. Maas was presented the award at the 2014 International
Microwaves Symposium (IMS) in June in Tampa, Florida.
Maas, chief scientist of AWR Group, NI and founder of Nonlinear Technologies, has an extensive background in low-noise
and nonlinear microwave circuits and systems. He is a prolific author and educator and has authored several books,
including
Microwave Mixers,
Non-Linear Microwave and RF Circuits, and
Practical Microwave Circuits. Maas has also held positions as an editor and chairman of the Microwave
Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) and is an IEEE fellow. In addition to this award, Maas was previously recognized
for a Microwave Prize in 1989 for his work on distortion diode mixers, as well as many other accomplishments.
