Planar Monolithic Industries (PMI) recently introduced six new products in their extensive line of RF and microwave components. Included are a DC to 40 GHz absorptive, SPST PIN diode switch; a 110 to 210 MHz frequency discriminator; a  0.5 to 18.0 GHz non-reflective, 10 bit, 60 dB PIN diode attenuator; a 160 MHz frequency discriminator; a 0.1 to 50.0 GHz SP8T absorptive switch; and a 26.5 to 40.0 GHz, passive amplitude equalizer with a negative slope. PMI Model No. P1T-DC40G-65-T-24FM-1NS is an Absorptive, Single Pole, Single Throw Pin Diode Switch that operates from DC to 40 GHz with Isolation of 65 dB; Insertion Loss of 5.5 dB; VSWR of 2.0:1; Input Power of +17 dBm; and Switching Speed of 5 ns, Rise/Fall Time of 0.9 ns. This model uses DC Voltage of +8 to +15 V @ 15 mA, -8 to -15 V @ 40 mA, incorporates a TTL compatible driver for ease of system integration and has 2.4 mm female connectors in a housing measuring 1.30" x 1.20" x 0.50".


PMI Model No. FD-160M-100M-1515, Frequency Discriminator - RF CafePMI Model No. FD-160M-100M-1515, Frequency Discriminator

PMI Model No. FD-160M-100M-1515 is a frequency discriminator that operates at a center frequency of 160 MHz. Operating Frequency is 110 to 210 MHz; Sensitivity into 50 Ohms of 9.5 to 10 mV/MHz; Linearity @ 25°C of ±3 %, @ 0°C to 60°C of ±5 %; Input Dynamic Range of -10 to 0 dBm; Input VSWR of 1.5:1; and a Video Out vs. Input Frequency of 1 V. This model uses DC Power Supply of +15 V @ 400 mA, -15 V @ 400 mA contains SMA female connectors in a housing measuring 4.63" x 1.50" x 0.47".


PMI Model No. DTA-0R5G18G-60-CD-4, 10-Bit Programmable Attenuator - RF CafePMI Model No. DTA-0R5G18G-60-CD-4, 10-Bit Programmable Attenuator  

PMI Model No. DTA-0R5G18G-60-CD-4 is a non-reflective, 10 bit, programmable 60 dB pin diode attenuator with step resolution as low as 0.06 dB over the frequency range of 0.5 to 18.0 GHz. Insertion Loss of 4.8 dB; VSWR of 2.0:1; Flatness up to ±3.0 dB; Accuracy of Attenuation of ±2.0 dB; Operating Power of 15 dBm; Survival Power of 1 W; and Switching Time On/Off of 1.0 µs/0.5 µs. This model uses DC Power Supply of +15 V @ 150 mA; contains SMA female connectors and 15 Pin Micro-D female connector in a housing: 2.00" x 1.80" x 0.40".


FD-160M-100M-1515 is a frequency discriminator - RF CafePMI Model No. GMDA-D1003, DLVA

PMI Model No. GMDA-D1003 is a Detector Log Video Amplifier (DLVA) that operates between the 7.0 to 18.0 GHz frequency range with a dynamic range of 75 dB; a log slope of +25 ± 1.0 mV/dB; Logging Linearity of ±1.0 dB; Flatness of 100 mV; RF Safe Input Power of +23 dBm; Max Output Voltage of +2.5 V; Input VSWR of 2.5:1; Video Rise Time of 30 ns; Recovery Time of 1 µs; Throughput Time of 30 ns; Video Bandwidth of 10 MHz and Offset Voltage of 50 mV and a nominal video bandwidth of 12 MHz. Designed using cutting edge GaAs technology which provides stunning performance and reliability in a compact package 3.00" x 2.90" x 0.50" with SMA female connectors.


PMI Model No. P8T-100M50G-90-T-RD, SP8T Absorptive Switch - RF CafePMI Model No. P8T-100M50G-90-T-RD, SP8T Absorptive Switch

PMI Model No. P8T-100M50G-90-T-RD is a SP8T Absorptive Switch that operates over the 0.1 to 50.0 GHz frequency range with a typical insertion loss of 9.0 dB; a typical isolation of 90 dB; VSWR is 2.2:1 Typ @ 18.0 GHz, 2.5:1 Typ @ 40.0 GHz, 3.5:1 Typ @ 50.0 GHz; input power, 20 dBm CW maximum, and maximum switching speed, 50 ns. This model incorporates a TTL compatible driver for ease of system integration and has 2.4 mm female connectors in a housing measuring 1.60" x 1.68" x 0.40".


PMI Model No. EQL-26D5G40G-1D5DB-292MF, Passive Amplitude Equalizer - RF CafePMI Model No. EQL-26D5G40G-1D5DB-292MF, Passive Amplitude Equalizer

PMI Model No. EQL-26D5G40G-1D5DB-292MF is a 26.5 to 40.0 GHz, Passive Amplitude Equalizer with a negative slope. Specification include Maximum Input Power of 0.5 W CW; VSWR of 2.0:1; Insertion Loss of 1.5 dB; Slope of 0.41 ± 0.06 dB/GHz; and Amplitude Accuracy of ±0.5 dB. This model has 2.92mm male/ female connectors and housing: 1.10" x 0.67" x 0.22".
