October must have been really busy because I totally missed posting
a list of good magazine articles for the month. At the top of the list is Alejandro Buritica (National
Instruments) discussing the IEEE's recently announced 802.11ax WiFi standard, which is projected to
provide data speeds of up to 10 Gbps in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ISM bands. There is also
a pretty good article on capacitor ESR basics and measurement thereof. Items move onto and off of all
homepages quickly, so even if you visit Microwave & RF, Microwave Journal,
Microwave Product Digest, High Frequency Electronics, et al, regularly, you might have
missed something in the list below.
