RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

Engineering Career and Job Hunting Advice for January 2017

Engineering Career and Job Hunting Advice for January 2017 - RF CafeIf one of your New Years' resolutions was to finally, seriously look for a new job, now is the time to start. There is reason to hope that this year will be the beginning of a new era of manufacturing in America, so there should be a wave of openings for manufacturing, test, and quality control engineering specialists. Not that doing the design and R&D work isn't important and exciting, but there is a lot of satisfaction to be had in being part of the system that ships products out the door and into the consumer public. It is a great feeling to know something you had a part in producing is being used by people locally or globally. Lots of advice is available on the Internet, so here are a few I found that look useful.

Here is a list of current engineering jobs listed on RF Cafe.
Here are the complete job resource lists for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019.
