Custom MMIC

Custom MMIC expands its industry leading Low Noise Amplifier MMIC portfolio with three new product releases ranging from 2 to 16 GHz

Custom MMIC Intros Low Noise Amplifiers for 2-16 GHz - RF CafeChelmsford, MA – September 3, 2019 – Custom MMIC (www.CustomMMIC.com), a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs), is proud to introduce three new Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMICs to its industry leading portfolio of high-performance RF and Microwave MMIC products. These three new GaAs devices offer customers a broad frequency range that addresses many popular wireless applications in the Aerospace, Defense and Instrumentation markets.

The CMD309P4 is a broadband MMIC low noise amplifier housed in a leadless 4x4 mm plastic surface mount package. The CMD309P4 is ideally suited for microwave radios and C and X band applications where high gain, low noise figure and low power consumption are needed. The broadband device operates from 5 to 11 GHz and  delivers 27 dB of gain with a corresponding output 27 dB compression point of +13 dBm and a noise figure of 1.5 dB. The CMD309P4 includes on chip blocking capacitors and is internally matched to 50 ohms which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching.

The CMD308P4 is a broadband MMIC low noise amplifier housed in a leadless 4x4 mm plastic surface mount QFN package. The CMD308P4 is ideally suited for microwave radios and S and C-band applications where high gain, low noise figure and low power consumption are needed. The broadband device operates from 2 to 6 GHz and delivers 31 dB of gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of +12 dBm and a noise figure of 1.6 dB. The CMD308P4 includes on chip blocking capacitors and is internally matched to 50 ohms which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching.

The CMD307P3 is a broadband MMIC low noise amplifier housed in a leadless 3x3 mm plastic surface mount package. The CMD307P3 is ideally suited for EW and communication systems where small size and low power consumption are needed. The device operates from 8 to 16 GHz and delivers greater than 17 dB of gain with a corresponding output 1 dB compression point of +12 dBm and noise figure of 2 dB. The CMD307P3 includes on chip blocking capacitors and is internally matched to 50 ohms which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching.
