C-Band High Efficiency Dual MIMO Ruggedized BDA
Well suited for today's modern 2x2 MIMO radios, the
TTRM4005DR is designed to extend range of mission-critical communications.
Covering the lower C-Band, this BDA offers 25 Watts of output power, and operates
from 4400 - 5000 MHz. State-of-the-art GaN devices, along with complex matching
circuits for the driver and final devices, allow the TTRM4005DR to deliver 5 Watts
of OFDM output power per channel, while maintaining an EVM of 4.4%. Compared to our older
model, the TTRM1008D, this new dual BDA is 30% efficient at 20 W, and 15% at 5 W.
That's almost four times more efficient than the old model, meaning lower power consumption,
longer battery life, and less required cooling. Featuring an integrated heatsink and
an IP67 rated DC/Control circular connector, the TTRM4005DR has been built to survive
in all harsh environments. The unit has been designed in the same manner as our other
military products that have successfully passed the rigorous tests of MIL-STD-810G and
MIL-STD-961. Integrating the heatsink also helps cut down on size, allowing the TTRM4005DR
to measure in at only 6.00 x 4.77 x 2.50 inches to help meet strict SWAP requirements.
The TTRM4005D comes with several new features including the following:
Available with either RF-detect automatic Tx/Rx switching or manual Tx/Rx control
Status pin to indicate over-temperature alarm, or a failure mode. Improved base plate
temperature output circuitry
Production quantities have already begun shipping to several domestic and international
customers of high speed video and data links. Additional information on this product

50 Watt Low-WaP L-Band Power Amplifier
The all new
TA1017 is a 50 Watt power amplifier that covers both L and S
Band. The model offers impressive power in a small and lightweight package, making it
ideal for, but not limited to Unmanned Vehicles and DBV-T applications. The TA1017 is
also an excellent choice for LTE, WiFi, and any other L or S band application where small
size and high output power are essential. The unit offers 27 dB of gain, and can
operate with input DC voltages ranging from +10 to +28 VDC! The GaN unit produces
10 W of linear RF power while only drawing 2 A at 28 V. This translates
to 18% efficiency. Please see the
TA1017 web page for more information.
High-Efficiency Wide-Band BDA - Full Band Auto Switching
Triad introduces the
TTRM1210, a wideband GaN BDA that operates from 30 MHz to 2700 MHz,
and produces over 8 W of peak Tx power. One of the smallest BDAs in the industry
measuring only 3.25 x 2.12 x 0.53 inches, this feature rich BDA is also one of the most
efficient. While producing 8 W of RF power, it only consumes 24W of DC power. It
also produces over 2 W of linear 16 QAM power with <9% EVM. This BDA's small
size and high efficiency make it ideal for SWaP friendly commercial and military software
defined radio (SDR) applications. In order to be compatible with a wide variety of existing
platforms, the TTRM1210 offers the option of Automatic Tx/Rx switching across its entire
operating frequency band, as well as a wide DC input range of +11 to +28 VDC. Regardless
of the selected option, switching between Tx and Rx takes less than 1 µsec. Additionally,
base plate temperature can be monitored via an analog temperature sensor output pin on
the DC/Control connector. Additional information on this BDA can be found here:

4 Watt S-Band CubeSat/NanoSat Amplifier
The
TA1109 is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier
that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems.
Operating from 2000 to 2500 MHz, the TA1109 is compatible with most lower S-Band
transmitters. This amplifier also offers up to 4 W of output power to ensure proper
communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO). Weighing in at less than a half
an ounce with a footprint of only 2.7 x 1.3 inches, the TA1109 is perfect for applications
where small size and light weight is critical,. With a voltage input range of +9 to +14
VDC, the TA1109 is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses
typically found on a CubeSat chassis. Additional information on this amplifier can be
found here:
