RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

Telford, PA - January 14, 2022 - Amplifier Solutions Corporation (ASC), founded in 2004 by a team of experienced engineers from Phoenix Microwave (M/A-COM), is a designer and manufacturer of RF & Microwave hybrid amplifiers for the military and commercial markets. Amplifier Solutions is proud to introduce our ASC2437C RF Amplifier. It features a bandwidth of 100 to 1,800 MHz with typical flatness of ±1.0 across the band, 42 dB of gain, and a 4 watt power output. Maximum input power is 0 dBm. SMA connectors are standard with DC feedthrough pins for the supply. 0 to 50°C operational temperature range. 1.00" high x 2.50" wide x 4.00" long.
